user page error

Hello Oya - just wanted to let you know that the user page error has been reported on and we are trying to figure out what is going on. WikiUpgrades is a place to let folks know if there are things that go wrong - btw - did you signin to the wiki with OpenID? Best, MarkDilley

Peace Mark. Please elaborate on 'OpenID". I signed in using my user name and new password. Thank you for recognizing and helping with my page error issue. Thank you.

OpenID is a system that is getting more popular on the internet as a way to have one account that signs into many websites. I am trying to track down this bug that is affecting user pages - and I think if you didn't sign in that way - it messes things up, which absolutely shouldn't happen, since OpenID is so new. Best, MarkDilley
also - I would like to redirect your personal page (different than this talk page) to Oya Amakisi - is that acceptable to you (I am not a fan of calling people 'users')

rename if you are interested

Hi Oya - wondering if you would want your account name to be Oya Amakisi instead of Oya amakisi - either is fine - best, MarkDilley

Thank you Mark - I would prefer that.

Tried it (newly installed) and am getting an error - will let you know when it gets fixed. Best, MarkDilley

I will check later. Thank you.

Excellent!

I would love do a training session with you - when might you have 15 - 30 minutes to go over some stuff? Thursday through Tuesday are a bit hetic for me - sooner would be cool. Best, Mark

p.s. one of the great qualities of a wiki is that it can organize itself however the community wants to organize itself. Best, MarkDilley

OpenID

Hello Oya, I think the way to get around the error on this site is to login with an OpenID. Please try that when you can, to see if it worked. Best, MarkDilley
