Philly Communications & Technology

Website Update:

-in construction in Drupal by three students from PhillyDevCamp

-they are asking us to send them photos, videos, other resources and assets to include in site

-we have photos from the 2010 Detroit Social Forum and the 8/9/14 Philly PMA

2010 Flickr: https://secure.flickr.com/photos/ussocialforum/

-if you see or have any specific photos which you think should be included on the website, contact Jeremy

-national USSF 2015 logo design in process

-John: ANSWER Coalition may be interested in becoming an anchor organization for USSF Philly

-Larry: would be a good idea to do another big meet-and-greet type meeting with people from all of the work groups in September or October to kick things into a higher gear coming out of the summer

-by then, website should be live

-Website mockup from a couple months ago: http://tue85426.wix.com/socialforum3

-would be good to decide on color scheme as soon as possible

-depending on how quickly the website comes together, we may try to do a conference call sometime before 9/8 to review it

US Social Forum Wiki:

-not currently being well utilized - lots of information, but not well organized, and not getting updated with Philly meeting notes

-Jeremy will look into whether he can create accounts for people to be able to edit the wiki

-John and Rich volunteered to learn how to use Wiki and post work groups' meeting minutes and other documents/resources

-at next PLOC meeting (this Thursday), Galen will ask other work groups to send meeting notes to John so John can post them to Wiki
