Journalism and politics student in the late 80s. Founded and ran a small alt politics monthly in the Bay Area in 1990. Active in the anti-war protests and gay rights marches. Spend a decade in and out of Silicon Valley employment in graphic design, IT, and Photoshop QA at Adobe. Moved into Earth First! direct action in the mid-90s working on organizing and media outreach (web/PR). Spend a decade working for an environmental foundation in the areas of IT, volunteer recruitment and coordinating, fundraising, web design and dev (drupal/civicrm), and geographic information systems (GIS). Now working at the Left Forum in Manhattan as Volunteer and IT Coordinator.
