Youth WG Goals

• Youth Working Group Purpose/Mission:

A youth-lead body that organizes and mobilizes youth nationally to be

part of the USSF process.

To insure that youth are involved in the planning

of USSF.

To plan and implement the means for youth to be integrated in the USSF

process.

To push and insure that the USSF is a intergenerational process friendly

and open to young people.

Develop and build a medium that can help sustain a national base of youth

leaders and organizers.

• Vision:

To have a youth PMA (either before or during USSF).

To mobilize massive group of youth to come to USSF.

Build national base for youth organizing/national youth movement.

Have youth space and activities recognized by USSF and put on official

agenda.

The USSF be a intergenerational process and space, fully supportive of

youth-lead initiatives.

• Values:

Youth-lead.

representative of youth needs nationally.

Clear and open communication.

YWG accessible for youth contact/questions.

Well-organized and documented work.

Honest and respectful sharing.
