Instead of "Key Aims"I suggest:

WHO is coming? Working people, artists, students, organizers, indigenous communities, poor people, immigrants, social justice activists, families, and people from every region of the country!

WHAT is the Forum? Workshops, panels, celebrations, family reunions, film fests, tents for dialogue & activities, actions, marches, cultural experiences, learning, sharing, strategizing, coordinating to build our movements!

We made several changes to this. We included part of Maureen's quote (but without the quote), and also included some thoughts from Tom Stevens, and added Steph's contributions above. We think the language is more accessible and engaging now, and highlights the postive reasons why Detroit is the host city.

I added the second to last bullet point about fundraising with the Feed the Roots link.

Hi. I added Michael's suggestion from email (2nd sentence) and added the Disability Justice Committee language (at bottom). Plus I edited some of the bullet points to streamline and help them fit better per line.

I changed the disability language somewhat, so it also included accommodations and other languages to participate. The date was far too soon. May 3rd is the early registration deadline - and most people with disabilities know they need to make these type of requests early on. It is not that later requests won't be attempted - but it might be much harder depending on the nature of the request and how many similar to it we have already fulfilled. - Susan Fitzmaurice
